Wednesday, November 9th
Join your colleagues for an exciting bicycle tour of this great southern city! During this 10-mile, 3 hour tour, guests will see beautiful intown neighborhoods, visit historic sites and parks while learning about the "Movers and Shakers" of Reconstruction and early Atlanta. All you need to bring is an adventourous spirit, comfortable clothes and shoes (preferably tennis shoes) and the ability to roll on two wheels!
DETAILS:
LOCATION: The Studioplex Lofts / 659 Auburn Avenue, Suite G19, Atlanta, GA 30312. LOCATED JUST ONE BLOCK FROM THE KING HISTORIC DISTRICT.
9:00 Arrival: Guests should arrive at 9:00 for bike and helmet fitting.
9:30 Tour Departs - Tour stops in Oakland Cemetery for healthy snacks and a restroom break at approximately 11:00.
12:30 Tour concludes
Fee includes bike, helmet, bottle water, snacks and entertaining and knowleable tour guide.
TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING DETAILS:
October 28th - 31st, guest will be responsible for their own transporation to the tour departure location. Site is located 1 mile from the Inman Park Reynoldstown Marta station and free parking is available. Cab service is also available.
November 1st and 2nd (Tuesday and Wednesday), a shuttle bus will be available to transport guests to and from tour departure location at no additional cost. Specific details to follow.
IN THE EVENT THE TOUR MUST CANCEL DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, GUESTS WILL BE ABLE TO RECEIVE A FULL REFUND. TOURS WILL RUN IN OVERCAST AND SLIGHTLY MISTING CONDITIONS, AND WHEN TEMPATURE IS ABOVE 38 DEGREES. Average temps this time of year in Atlanta run from 50 - 70 degrees.
